2026+ Research and Monitoring Initiatives

The purpose of the meeting was to gather input from stakeholders and subject matter experts on upcoming research projects and monitoring strategies for 2026 and beyond. Specific projects and strategies discussed included a Science Collaborative Capacity Building Project focused on data inventory and harmonization, habitat enhancement for shorebirds in the Tolomato River, and updates to GTMNERR’s Coastal Wetland Monitoring Strategy.
